In the first of what the company claims could be several high profile appointments in 2012, vrs Vericlaim has announced that Michael Burnett is to be its representative in Northern Ireland, as from February 1.

vrs Vericlaim is approaching its second anniversary, with a growing reputation for employing highly qualified and experienced staff, which Burnett’s appointment will only serve to enhance.

Strategically the agreement gives vrs Vericlaim an office in Northern Ireland, which has until now been managed from Scotland. Tasked with handling claims and growing the company’s presence in the region, Burnett will report to Director Alistair Halley, who heads up vrs Vericlaim’s Scotland and Northern Ireland region.

An extremely skilled loss adjuster, Burnett has been particularly involved in handling major loss claims for over 30 years and is looking forward to a return to a more hands-on role. Formerly a regional director of Cunningham Lindsey, past President of the CILA and past President of the Belfast Insurance Institute, Burnett says: “I made the decision to join vrs Vericlaim because I felt I would be most comfortable with both the people and the service offering. I will be working with senior adjusters who have a deep understanding and knowledge of the business, and the role gives me the opportunity to develop a tailored service within the commercial sector. I don’t know a better team of skilled adjusters with which to do it.”
